Some members of the Prescott-Russell Coalition to End Violence Against Women, including Centre Novas, Maison Interlude House, and Leadership féminin Prescott and Russell (LFPR), had the privilege of meeting with the Honourable Charmaine Williams, Associate Minister of Social and Economic Opportunities for Women.

This meeting provided an opportunity to discuss key issues for our region, present ongoing projects, and share the challenges that organizations face on a daily basis. The Minister was able to witness firsthand the commitment and essential work these organizations carry out with women in Prescott-Russell.

Beyond the exchange, this meeting highlights the importance of amplifying the voices of women and community organizations who work every day to ensure safety, autonomy, and well-being.

We thank the Minister for her attentiveness and for this meaningful exchange, which helps strengthen the visibility and recognition of the Coalition’s work.
